Filter Coffee

Simple step-by-step guide to brew your coffee through a filter machine.
  1. Grind the Coffee Beans: Select fresh coffee beans and grind them to a medium-coarse consistency. This grind size is suitable for filter coffee.
  2. Prepare the Filter and Coffee: Place a paper filter in the filter basket of your coffee maker. Add the ground coffee into the filter, using approximately 15grams (1.5-2 table spoons) of coffee per 200ml of water. Adjust the amount based on your taste preferences.
  3. Add Water: Fill the water reservoir of your coffee maker with cold, filtered water. The ratio of coffee to water is typically 1:15 (1 part coffee to 15 parts water). Adjust the ratio to taste.
  4. Start Brewing: Turn on the coffee maker and let it brew. The water should pass through the coffee grounds and filter, extracting the flavors. The brewing time will vary depending on the coffee maker, but it's usually around 4-6 minutes.
  5. Serve and Enjoy: Once the brewing is complete, carefully remove the carafe or pot from the coffee maker. Pour the brewed coffee into cups and serve immediately. Add any desired milk, cream, or sweeteners according to personal preference.

Remember, these brewing instructions are general guidelines. Feel free to adjust the coffee-to-water ratios, brewing times, and other variables to suit your taste preferences and the specific equipment you have.
